Colfax, California Site Development
Northwoods Tree & Land Service was contracted to perform full-scope land preparation for a private site development project in Colfax, California. Our team executed all vegetation removal and tree clearing, followed by comprehensive stump grinding and root grubbing to ensure a clean foundation for development. To complete the project, we installed a compacted gravel access road, providing durable, all-weather site entry in alignment with the project’s grading and drainage plan.
Grass Valley, River Fire Hazard Tree Mitigation
Northwoods Tree & Land Service was tasked with hazard tree mitigation on private land impacted by the River Fire in Nevada and Placer Counties. Our team identified and felled large high-risk snags, severely burned trees left standing after the fire, to reduce safety hazards and support post-wildfire recovery efforts. The work was executed with precision and care, ensuring safety for future site use while contributing to forest resilience in the aftermath of a major burn.
